Nollywood actor Yomi Fabiyi has cried out over the brutal attack on his colleague, Ibrahim Bello Sanyay, better known as Baba Lawori.

We reported early this month that the Yoruba actor had cried out to Nigerians for help over a brutal attack from one of the aides of Lagos socialite Koko Zaria. In a post on his Instagram page, he recounted how he was performing as a Master of Ceremony at an event on Idumu Day when a stranger approached him, claiming that Koko Zaria wanted to see him, unknowingly that it was a set-up. When he arrived, Koko Zaria questioned why he didn’t acknowledge him. Baba Lawori had apologised, promising to make corrections, when one of his associates smashed a bottle on his head, and he was covered in his own blôod and lost consciousness.

Taking to his Instagram page, Yomi Fabiyi shared a video of the actor being forced into a car as he questioned how long his colleagues and Nigerians were going to be silent about it.

Revealing how scared he was, he prayed that the actor wouldn’t die from the injury as he noted how a head injury is serious. Yomi states that he was posting this while also seriously attending to his health, but he can’t ignore Baba Lawori’s plight.

He further questioned if one must always protest before getting the right things.
